How an engagement runs, from the first conversation to support

What the first call costs (nothing), what to bring, the four stages every project follows, and the terms you are on afterwards.

Whether the work is payments, development, infrastructure or consulting, every engagement runs the same path. Here is what to expect at each step, starting before you have agreed to anything.

The first conversation

It is free, and it is an assessment rather than a sales call. Tell us what you are trying to solve, in your own words, through Get started or the contact page. Within one business day you have an honest read on the situation, real pricing where it applies, and next steps you can act on with us or without us. If the honest answer is that you are fine where you are, that is what you will hear.

What to bring: for payments, one recent processing statement is enough; for anything else, a description of the problem. Anything you share can be covered by a mutual NDA.

Discovery

We start by understanding your situation: systems, costs, contracts and what you are actually trying to achieve. A current-state review, your pain points in your words and verified in the data, the business objectives that define success, and an NDA before anything sensitive changes hands. For payments this is the line-by-line statement audit; for infrastructure, a stack and licensing review; for consulting, an unbiased assessment.

Planning

Options with real trade-offs rather than one pre-picked answer, realistic timelines, itemized pricing you see before anything starts, risks named upfront with mitigation, and a plan clear enough that you could execute it without us. Any later change in scope is discussed and re-quoted before work begins.

Execution

The people who scoped the work deliver it. In-house development and direct implementation by a 100% North American team, partner coordination where it is needed, regular check-ins so you see progress continuously, testing before anything goes live, and documentation and knowledge transfer included. You will understand how everything works and will not depend on us for basic operations.

Support

We stay accountable after delivery: ongoing optimization and monitoring, strategic guidance as your needs change, vendor and partner coordination handled for you. Terms are month to month. We earn the business every month, and you stay because the service delivers.

Three ways to engage

Project-based for a fixed scope with clear deliverables, such as a payment migration, a custom build or an infrastructure upgrade. Retainer for ongoing guidance and execution across any of our services, including fractional CTO. Advisory for teams with in-house execution who want independent assessment and planning.
