What the free payment audit checks, and what you get back

One statement in, a line-by-line report out in 48 hours. What we look at, why more statements help, and what happens after.

Most “free audits” come from a processor selling its own rails, so of course they find savings. Ours is different in one structural way: we set up whichever of 10+ processors fits your transaction profile, so the recommendation follows your numbers, not a quota. Sometimes the answer is stay where you are.

What you send

One recent processing statement is enough to start. Three to six months gives us your real pattern, because the type of card your customers use (debit, rewards, corporate) shifts month to month and drives what you pay. Everything is reviewed under a mutual NDA. You share what you are comfortable with, nothing more.

What we check

What you are paying. Every fee category, transaction type and markup against what you should be paying: the actual cost of each card type, hidden markups buried in the statement, whether your pricing model is working for or against you, and how your rates compare with what other businesses actually pay.

What is holding you back. Contract terms, lock-in clauses and early exit costs. Equipment you are leasing when you could own it. Compliance fees you may be paying unnecessarily. Where automation could cut your processing cost.

If you sell across borders or run several entities. Cross-border surcharges, currency conversion markups, and whether transactions are routed through the most cost-effective path for your mix.

What you get back

A written report: a line-by-line fee breakdown, what each card type is costing you, the fees you did not know you were paying, how your rates compare, what you could save annually in real numbers, and a clear path to lower costs. It is the same report we use to save clients thousands a year, and it is yours to keep whether or not you work with us. No follow-up calls, no obligation.

What happens after

If switching saves you money, we can set up the new processor and migrate you without your customers noticing. If it does not, you have a report that says so and the numbers to hold your current provider to. Across the audits we have run, the average fee reduction is 20 to 40%.

Start on the audit page, or ask us anything about it on the contact page.
